On the base of the ICP the educational trainings for “Creative People” project are implemented

On behalf of the St. Petersburg Committee for Culture, the Institute for Cultural Programs conducts the implementation of the project “Creative People”, which is a part of the national program “Culture” started on January 1, 2019.

The project “Creative People” involves the advanced training of creative and managerial personnel in the field of culture on the basis of leading Russian universities at the expense of the federal budget.

Kultura The federal project “Creative People” of the national program “Culture” aims to create a national system for the professional growth of workers in the cultural sector, based on the principle of continuous education, advanced training and perfection of skills of currently working specialists in the cultural sector. Thus, creative and managerial personnel of any age will have the opportunity to gain new competencies in 19 leading creative universities of the country and on the basis of the Russian State Library.

Educational programs will be carried out in the following areas: librarianship and museums, theatrical and musical arts, event directing. Programs will also be implemented in the following areas: “Project approach and innovative forms of cultural activity”, “Fundamentals of project management in the field of culture: fundraising, social, digital, investment cultural projects”, “Creation and promotion of services provided by cultural institutions in the virtual space”.

In accordance with the regional plan for the implementation of the project, more than 8,000 employees will be provided with advanced training in the period from 2019 to 2024.

In connection with the carrying out of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the implementation of all programs from January to November 2022 will be carried out remotely.
