The premiere of the series by Danila Kozlovsky

On January 20, the premiere of the first series of Danila Kozlovsky “Karamora” will take place on the Start video service.

Danila Kozlovsky (“Vampire Academy”, “Vikings”, “Legend No. 17”) is a Russian theater, movie and television actor, director, screenwriter and producer.

The movie presents an alternative version of the Russian Empire at the beginning of the 20th century. The protagonist, an anarchist nicknamed Karamora, reveals the existence of a secret organization, which includes representatives of the monarchic houses and noble dynasties of the Old World. The powers of these people are beyond human capabilities. Karamora, having lost her beloved and close friends in a fight, decides to expose the secret society.

The filming of the series lasted from August 2019 to January 2021. The series involves about 200 different locations in Russia (St. Petersburg, Moscow, Leningrad region and Moscow region) as well as in Georgia (Tbilisi).

Filming was organized with the assistance of the Film Commission on the basis of the Institute for Cultural Programs. The project was created with the support of the Kinoprime Foundation for the Development of Contemporary Cinema.
